Lord Narvin was a dark sorcerer of mediocre talent. But what skills he did have, he put to good use: mixing up poisons with which to slowly weaken the royal family, and spying on the lovely Lady Vanessa with his magic medallion.
And so he knew precisely where to find her, although he put on a mask of surprise.
"My Lady Vanessa, what an unexpected pleasure." He took her hand and kissed her knuckles.
