WHO: The T-X/Hannibal Lecter.
WHERE: Doctor Lecter's Magical Adventure Emporium personal room.
WHAT: Genocidal robot from the future gets assigned to help a vicious, intellectual cannibal from killing by shooting sparkly rainbows at him. Instead, it chooses to meet up for an important chat. HELLO, CLARICE...

The T-X was a world away from the earliest infiltrators. The big, clunky T-600s with rubber skin, relatively easy to identify when close up. Then came the T-800s; precision-engineered combat machines, fitted out with a sheath of flesh and capable of sweat, halitosis and just about every other marker typical for human beings. The next step up came in the form of mimetic polyalloy - 'liquid metal' - and a resulting machine able to shift its likeness into just about any appearance.

The problem always seemed to be dogs. In one way or another, guarding canines always seemed to somehow know. More to the point, there was always metal involved and, even now, that was unlikely to change. A T-1000 might be able to melt its way through metal bars, but turn on a magnet or super-heat it with the right temperature and it was remarkably easy to neutralise.

And so, Skynet decided to combine the best of both worlds... The T-X was the culmination of these engineering philosophies. Something designed to be sleek, clean and appeal, more than ever, to aspects of human psychology gleaned from pre-war records and experiments with interrogated human prisoners.

It was one of these which was walking down the corridor with a model-like sway of arms and hips. Something more suited to a catwalk than a place like this, but that was the nature of the beast. The way it had been programmed to act.

KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK...

"Doctor Lecter?"
