After lunch, she headed down to the library, her arms full of books to return. She places them on the desk and eagerly started through the aisles.

She gave him a sweet smile. "It's me. Can I help you?" Taking a step back, she returned the book she had taken to her table back on its shelf.

She folded her arms across her chest. "Well, that's probably good for your health, you know. Beiging idiot."

"You're the one who tried to compliment me. And...would you rather I just say fucking? I was trying to be polite." It wasn't the exact use of that word, she knew, but she was trying to make a point. She stood her ground for the moment, though he wasn't annoying enough that she wanted to hit him. Yet.

"That depends on the compliment." She took a few steps back, just in case she started to get angry again. She had gotten away with hitting him once, but she didn't really think that she would get that lucky a second time. "So just don't do it."

She couldn't hit him. She couldn't hit him. She told Eddie that she wouldn't. And...she knew she was just going to get in trouble again. So she stepped back and shook her head. "Then it's a shame you'll never get to enjoy it." She was learning way too much by reading and just...by being on the Barge.
