Cissie threw herself into the cooking baking party in an effort to distract herself from how awful she was feeling, and from the fight she'd had with Tim. It had mostly worked at the time, but she should have spent the night with Molly. Instead, she had told Molly she wanted some time to herself, and she'd gone back to her room, where the rum wore off, leaving her mopey and lonely. She ate enough of her share of the rum balls to make herself a little sick, and... maybe a little tipsy. (Possibly they could have been less heavy-handed with the alcohol.)
Of all the people Cissie could go to for emotional support when she was feeling needy and sad... Sylar was maybe not the best choice. Sober, Cissie recognized that, even if she kind of wished that was different. But tipsy and lonely? Going to her boyfriend seemed like the logical thing to do.
Which was why Cissie made her way to Sylar's room on Sunday night and knocked.
