Mid Morning - On the Deck counturfingers June 4 2011, 17:51:40 UTC
Vila lurked, watching people as they passed by. He was on the hunt for a pocket or maybe a stray wristwatch. He didn't dare hope there were people who had useful things in their pockets.

Drake, meanwhile, was walking on the deck. He had nothing in his pockets, but he was wearing some rings, earrings, and a necklace. His pockets, however, were completely empty.

Vila happily stepped out of his lurking spot, looking non-chalant, and stepped up to join Drake. "It's a good morning for a walk, isn't it?" He asked. He was wondering if he still had a light enough touch to go for jewelry. That took skill, and he knew he was out of practice. But that's what this was. Practice!

"Yeah, I guess. I mean, it's not like there are bad mornings for a walk. It doesn't rain here or anything." Drake was, of course, oblivious to anything the other man might be plotting.

Lunch counturfingers June 4 2011, 17:53:21 UTC
He didn't mind the abundance of free food. Why did people complain about it so much? He took a chair and happily munched his sandwich. No doubt about it, this part of living here was good.

Mid Afternoon - in the hallways counturfingers June 4 2011, 17:54:35 UTC
After lunch he roamed the hallways, looking for more marks. Itchy fingers needed to keep in practice, even if he didn't have much of a chance of getting useful things.

I dare you to find his pockets. shortsghtedlove June 4 2011, 19:31:08 UTC
Rassilon was just on his way back from lunch and deep in thought, so he paid little attention to one of those humans lurking around. This ship was full of them anyway, as unfortunate as that was.

Vila watched the tall man sweep past. What was he wearing? Just out of curiosity more than his usual avarice, he fell in step behind Rassilon. Then he sped up to draw alongside him. "What did you think of lunch?" he asked.

Yep. shortsghtedlove June 4 2011, 20:36:46 UTC
Rassilon frowned slightly at that. Really, he couldn't even brood in peace without some human him. ...Well, all right, they usually didn't, but still. "It was the same as always, wasn't it? Far too earth centred."

Evening - After Dinner Stroll counturfingers June 4 2011, 17:56:04 UTC
Vila was tired after helping make dinner. So many hungry people here. He'd eaten his share and was glad to get away. He couldn't get to the CES, but he could sit near the garden, couldn't he? Nothing wrong with that!

Bartlet had come up on deck for a cigarette. He didn't like smoking in his room, nor dirtying up the CES - at least here he could have somewhat of the illusion of being outside, beneath these strange stars.

Up here by the garden, he was not alone. "Vila?" he asked, holding the pack of cigarettes in his hand.

Vila eyed the cigarettes. They weren't his particular vice, although he was surprised to see that his warden had one at all. "Barlet," he answered, not showing his surprise. "So you have time to come out to see the stars?"

"Of course," the Manchester man said. "I make time for it." They were nice stars here. Strange, but at least there was air and the illusion of being back on Earth.

"What about you? Out for a stroll?"

The Doctor was trying to get a good go at one of the light fixtures, because he'd never noticed this particular bulb go out in his entire time here. He was in the common room, a lamp strewn out on the couch half taken apart, going over the bits and pieces.

As for his pockets? Well, one was lucky when they didn't get the extension of tied handkerchiefs, the ball of yarn, or the rubber chicken.

OOC: I think Vila would have liked to have known this character, Tarranty though she be.

Vila couldn't believe his luck. Here was a fellow all engrossed in a light fixture. He practically tip-toed up to him and carefully poked a few fingers into a seemingly gaping coat pocket to draw out a ball of yarn. Vila tried not to groan in disappointment.

[OOC: wanna catch him?]

The slight tug of fabric gave the Doctor pause, and he didn't quite turn at first. His eyes just swivelled up as he was holding two miniature tools and his sonic screwdriver in his mouth. It was then that he turned to look at Vila, looking ridiculous.

"Oohing hur homfing?" Looking for something? He turned and spat out the screwdriver into the pile of bits that he'd made.
