Hayley felt drained. It was the best word she could put to her current mood, like nothing here would ever get significantly better and she was just waiting for the countdown until things fell apart. She felt isolated and alone more than anything else, a feeling that had increased exponentially when Ned, Bruce, and Adrian left, that had become nearly unbearable when both Capa and Rex had defended Harper to her when she had told them the truth about the warden's homicidal history, and that had finally piqued when Harper had declared that he was cutting off her communications with Rex. In some ways, he was the last friend she had on this Barge; there were some things she Loki just wouldn't understand.
In her present state of what could be summarized as a deep depression, she felt lost. Seeing Harvey in her dream experience with Arthur had only made her realize how much she missed her dearest friend and how little Capa filled that role, particularly with his becoming her warden and still siding with Harper. In this situation, angry with the world and cut off from one of her true friends, there was clearly only one solution: rebellion by reckless behavior. As such, Hayley was already on her way to Crane's room.
After dropping Sam Winchester's hunting jacket off with Judas, who had appeared to be freezing, she continued on her way to her "friend's" room. The bracelet Merlin had given her so long ago now seemed to be one of the most convenient things she could have possibly received, providing a fair amount of light without any sign of dimming, like her own personal lantern. With her taser tucked into her back pocket like usual, she wasn't too afraid of wandering the dark halls alone-- or maybe she just wanted to be attacked out there on her own. Regardless of the reason, she arrived at the man's door unharmed and knocked lightly there, desperate for him to be in.
