A-Camping We Will Go!

What: camping! It seems to work for everyone else.

Warnings: None yet, but who knows...
Notes: There will be a bit of hand-wavy gun safety instruction. Armand had a good teacher. This doesn't mean he's a good teacher. Mostly expect them to talk a lot--they need to--and get up to

Armand barely resisted the urge to hug Loki. It thrilled him to see his friend.

"Let's go then. Do you want to hike around a bit to look for a good place to camp?" he asked as he unlocked the door to the level. Then they could get to the CES.

Armand chuckled. Safe? He hadn't thought of it like that. Enjoyable, perhaps.

He didn't speak again until he'd opened up the door of the CES and peered inside to see what the landscape was this week. "I will be sure to take your advice, Loki, but it seems trees are to be scarce." Perversely, the CES decided not to be a wooded area, but a grassy plain. It was hard to tell from the doorway if it was a prairie or more like a tundra during a warm stretch. He hoped for prairie. The grasses did look invitingly warm and yellow.

"We won't die if it does," Armand said, but he did think they'd be pretty miserable. He followed his inmate, pausing inside the door to take a deep breath and taste the air. Clear, cool, but not too cold. "At least the air is fresh."

He moved away from where the entered, and turned to regard the landscape in all directions. There was a smudge on one false horizon. "Perhaps there are trees that way." If it wasn't a storm. He watched it for a moment to see if it moved.
