Bourne had been gracious enough to allow Costigan into the CES. After the two had gone on a run together, Bourne had let the inmate stay so that he could get some quiet time. He had heard the Admiral's announcement about a flood, but it was all the more reason to stay. Running on a beach was good exercise and he didn't so much mind the beautiful colors cascading across the ocean in a way that was reminiscent of Revere Beach. Because he had only planned on running, he was in shorts and a plain, white t-shirt.

Costigan was pulled from his reverie when he caught someone else in his peripheral vision. Immediately the inmate slowed, reaching to the small of his back and regretting that his knife wasn't there. After the initial reaction, however, he realized only wardens could arrive alone and it seemed a woman on top of it. He picked up into a light jog to close the distance between them, trying to cool off from his run to help prevent his muscles from tightening.

Una saw the approaching figure and blinked.

It couldn't be. Could it?

She started walking faster, picking up her pace almost to a run (she had a vague sense, somehow, that this was all happening in slow motion, perhaps with orchestral strings playing in the background). "My god, it's you!" she called out, a smile on her face.

No worries! I've been hit and miss myself. lost_undercover August 31 2010, 07:30:32 UTC
Costigan had never gotten that reaction before. Ever, in his entire life. It instantly put him on guard and his jog quickly slowed and stopped in an awkward and stiff posture shortly before she reached him. He folded his arms. No matter what her intentions, it wasn't in him to attack a woman in any way.

"You alright?" It crossed his mind that she could be affected by the flood, so he tried to halt his suspicion before it grew.

Una skidded to an embarrassed stop and flushed.

That was not Danny Archer's accent.

"Oh. Oh, hell, I'm sorry. I ... thought you were somebody else." She bit her lip.
