It took Fraser a moment to figure out that Ray had hung up. He sat there going "Ray? Ray?" at the screen for a bit before he finally reached the conclusion his partner was no longer there. His instincts told him to run out and try to find Ray himself, but the logical course of action would be to do as Ray said, stay put, and let Ray come to him. For a brief second Fraser considered throwing logic out the window and going with instinct, but no, he would leave the acting on instinct to Ray.
Don't worry Ray, when you get here, Fraser is going to have not moved at all.
