Birthday surprises!
Who: Paddy and Uhura
What: Even if he's a little brat, it's still his birthday
When: Evening, second day of the flood
Where: Uhura's cabin

Uhura had sent the adolescent Paddy a private verbal message, giving him her cabin room and telling him that she had something for him. Because of the flood changing him into a child, she was not able to give him what she really wanted to. However, there was still a lot for her to work with and she just had to make it up a bit as she went along. Thanks to their conversation before, as well as a bit of maneuvering by Scotty earlier that month, she was able to make this happen. Uhura had to simply make a mental note to thank Scotty for this later.
She had not been able to make her inmate a cake of any kind, but she doubted that it mattered now. She had plans for when this flood was over, just to show him that she wasn't as cold and calloused as he thought she was.
The message had said to be there after dinner, so it was then that Uhura waited, dressed up in her nice clothes, lounging on her couch as she hoped waited for her inmate to arrive.
