Who: 11-12 and OPEN When: Today Where: The gym What: Self defence training - and needing someone to train with! (Anyone/multiple people welcome.) Warnings: Probably none.
Jason liked the gym on board. It was a great place to get his mind off of the nightmares that had started to plague him, and it seemed to be the only place where he could really think. So he was spending more and more of his time within it's confinement. He'd seen various people come and go, doing whatever workouts they wanted. But he'd kept to himself. Sure he'd speak to one or two of the people, but he came to the gym to work out, not to be social.
When he saw 11-12 however, with a pile of books, his curiosity got the best of him. He stopped his lifting and grabbed for his towel. Wiping the sweat off his face and draping the towel on his shoulders, he headed over to the man.
"I've read most people like reading in the library. Never seen anyone read in a gym before."
"Studying..." He looked at the books and smirked a bit. "So you want to learn about martial arts?" Jason felt his luck turning around. Sure he probably hadn't made a great impression on the kid, but this he could help him with.
"You know, I was trained in a wide variety of the things. My father was a master of nearly every martial art you can find. I could help you out a bit."

"I'm studying more than reading," he said. "Jason, isn't it? We met the other day, through the journals, I believe?"
