Creed could smell the bubblegum in the gym. Damn, but he hadn't really thought she was here. The nose never lied.
He chuckled low to himself, his fist hitting the heavy bag and sending it spinning again. He'd been working up a sweat for the last hour or so, enjoying the chance to hit something.
Too bad there weren't too many on board that he could really spar with. Verona... but she only hunted. The X-Freaks. The thought of asking the Sparkplug to spar made him grin and hit the heavy bag even harder. Not that he'd hurt her. She was just a kid. A kid with a mouth, but a kid.
His ear picked up the sound of someone entering, but he didn't turn around. The kitten was curled up in his shirt over on the bench and out of the way.
