What: The Ritz vs. Motel 6 in an all out brawl!
When: First day of Port
Where: New York City, in all its freezing, icy glory.
Warnings: T'Pol and Severus together rarely ends too well.
The city reminded her in someways of San Francisco. The wind and the frigid temperatures, however, did not. The crowds were even worse than she had imagined, and the constant crush of people was frustrating at best - overwhelming at worst. Once they were off the Barge, T'Pol kept Severus close; it wasn't hard to be separated here.
It was hard to do just about anything else, though.
Money was no difficulty, and that was a small favor, but they were to be stuck here for three days, and would require lodging. Severus would need food. And all T'Pol wanted was to get out of the cold. Well, that - and find that jazz club Serena had mentioned. She could find no logic in the layout of the city beyond the basic grid pattern; stores of all types were intermixed with what appeared to be offices, or apartments. There was no section to find hotels. So the first one they passed was where T'Pol stopped, standing just under it's small awning to escape the wind.
