A Frenchman and Dr. Jones

Oct 14, 2009 14:20

Who: Armand & Martha
Where: the library
When: after this
What: Armand really needs to learn that not all the Doctor's companions are laughing at him after his affair with the old Rose.
Warnings: usual angstiness from Armand, possible discussion of sex but hopefully not that much detail because Martha is a nice person

It was hard not to want to hide. Armand walked to the library, which was on the same deck as his cabin, with the hope that this would go much better than he feared. From their brief discussion, he dared imagine that Dr. Martha Jones was going to be at least compassionate. He didn't want to discuss Rose, not directly. That felt too disconcerting, not with the other woman with that name and face still on board. But he did feel the need to have some sort of plan in place for dealing with the Doctor. By all accounts, the Time Lord was a formidable force, and not one to have as one's enemy. He feared he was. The idea both terrified and shamed him. Dr. Jones had also traveled with the Doctor. She'd know what to do. He only hoped he could bear her advice.

When he entered the library, he looked around first to make sure she wasn't already waiting for him. If he didn't find her, he meant to take up a chair at one of the tables to wait.
