When: Monday Evening, after the kidnappings and before the stand off with the Wardens

The air was thick with tension as the Inmates were preparing to make the announcement to the other Wardens. For now, the violence of the day was on hold; there was no need for it now that the hostages had been gathered. There were enough to line up in a row, an effective human shield to keep the Wardens at bay so that negotiations could be made. If all went according to plan, they could even come to an agreement without further violence-- unlikely, of course, considering the Inmates' tendency to backstab.
While the Inmates-- some of whom were now armed with guns-- milled about, the hostages were sat on the floor in the dining hall, as far from any exit as possible. All-- with the exception of one, who'd been tortured and drugged-- were restrained in some fashion. All were without their journals and their items. There wasn't any hope for escape yet.
