Angel made his way down to Libby's room at the time she'd specified, and knocked gently on the door.
He was pretty sure that Connect Four wasn't the real goal here - talking about Buffy and Libby's boyfriend was. And Buffy would inevitably lead to Cordelia, and while Angel was over Buffy enough to talk about her, he wasn't entirely sure he was ready to discuss Cordelia.
Libby answered the door with a somewhat nervous smile. "Hi, Angel. It's been a while since we've seen each other face-to-face, hasn't it?" She couldn't actually remember when the last time was...during the flood where they'd turned into the person who'd hurt them the most? Did that even count, since they weren't strictly themselves, and they were fighting each other?
"So," she said after taking a measured breath, renewing the smile, and stepping back to allow him to enter, "you've never played this game before?"
Angel returned Libby's smile, though his was less nervous. He still felt bad for the last time they'd seen each other, but he'd managed to come to terms with the fact that Angelus wasn't him.
When she stepped back, Angel raised his eyebrows a little at her, still smiling kindly. "Uh, you have to invite me in. It's... part of the vampire thing."
"Oh!" Libby said, laughing a little. "I'm sorry, I thought that was something made up for 'Salem's Lot, I guess. That movie always freaked me out... Anyway. Come on in."
She led the way and gestured to the chair she'd set out for him. "So, how have you been?"

Well, he'd see how it went.
