Keith had no inmate to look out for, so he'd decided to pry into his daughter's business instead. Of course, that would have been significantly easier if he'd been able to find her. After wandering through the woods for a few days and questioning the natives, he'd come to the conclusion that she must be "Princess Veronica," the King's step-daughter, and she probably believed she was part of this crazy world.
Since she was a princess, maybe she finally had that pony.
After walking and walking through the woods, Keith stumbled upon a castle. It didn't look like the King's castle, but a castle nonetheless. He skirted around the edges of it, looking for any signs of life.
