I thought it'd be okay to jump in river to stop those guys from chasing me. But no-o-o I ended up here. I shoulda just fought 'em. I could take it. Just because I'm a kid... And a girl -- that doesn't mean anything. I can punch just as good as any of them.
Ugh. I just remembered I don't even have my other clothes or a book or nothing. And I'm all wet, too. This is so stupid.
*is all of seven years old, and wearing a yellow variation of her shirt (same long sleeves and mandarin collar, minus the slits up the front and back) and her shorts are more decent for a kid to wear*
