The rest of my Saturday was crazy and so random, but I enjoyed it. I ended up going to Harvey Stone Park to meet up IVCF for smores, but ended up getting quite lost in the dark. Don't worry, I eventually found it. Then, after freezing for quite a bit, we went back to my Homeslice's (Chris') apartment in the Garden Apartments for a movie night. Somehow, we ended up watching The Grudge. Scary movie, but great to make fun of. Then, I left there with Lauren, Beth, and my new friend Amy to prepare for the BSU clubroom. They even helped me put together a costume, and as simple as it was, at least I still had something. The clubroom was a lot of fun, and they played a lot of good music, but I wasn't yet used to the Baltimore club music they played a lot of. Then, still with Lauren and Amy, but with other random people, we try and see if we could get into the party at Gardens, but campus safety were already there, so no luck. We end up in the room of this guy Brad, who lives on the fourth floor of McDaniel for the longest time, just jammin. From there, I went to Whiteford randomly with someone I was with, who Ashlii had to rescue me from, so I chilled with Ashlii and her friends for a bit before just going to bed. Yeahhh, building hopping on the Hill can be a lot of fun, especially when you don't know who you will be with next.
Today, I woke up for brunch, but then I when I saw that my roommate's clock had not been changed after looking at my laptop's, I realized that I woke up earlier than I had planned on doing, so I tried getting a couple of more minutes of sleep. I go to brunch, and then basically spend the day kind of cleaning around my dorm room. Then, I go to CCM dinner, which was good, and went to mass, which was even better, because I went with so many of my friends. I came to a refreshed realization of just how awesome God is, because more people are now coming to mass on Sunday, including Nicole's younger brother, which really is a blessing. I'm really hoping that I can get a lot of them to attend Mount 2000, or rather, Mount 2007, because I have seen how the power of the Eucharist can change lives; I speak from experience. =)
Well, after some crazy times in Whiteford with Elizabeth and Charissa, I get back to my room, start laundry while doing some reading, visit my homies in the newsroom, and then head back to my dorm room, where I am now as I type this. I could be doing homework, but I realize that time and deadlines are in my favor this time around, so I figure that I can take a slight distraction break... =)
Future plans: I know there will be things going on this Tuesday night, so I'm gonna have to hit something up. Possibly going with Ashlii to wherever she invited me to? Maybe. Plus, this weekend is families weekend, and I know I have a whole rack of people coming up to see me... you know how we Latinos do. =D Also, two more gospel choir gigs this weekend, so I'm gonna be pretty busy... but the good kind.
Thing to look forward to: I ordered Lagaan on Amazon for the sake of receiving a package here, and I am actually very excited for it's arrival! I can't wait to watch it1
That's it for now. I hope everyone's weekend was great, and that you all have a productive Monday. Peace out, and God bless!
