Not a very productive day, so I may as well update, no? So, since graduation, not a lot has happened, and I have not done much, to tell the truth. Friday, I didn't even go to youth group for going to graduation parties. Saturday, it was that same thing all over again, only this time it was three parties in one day, LOL. Sunday was a big surprise... the church seemed to be practically empty! The other priest at church gave mass, and our guess is that the regular priest, who is Mexican, was watching the Mexico-Iran World Cup game. Well, won't he be in a good mood the next time we see him? After mass, we went out to eat, and since we went to Ay! Jalisco, I still got to watch the Portugal-Angola game, at least most of it. Portugal still won, but they could have done better, admittedly; the Angolans play dirty, man.
So, yeah, that's my weekend, in a nutshell. This week, I think I may actually get to cleaning my room. It's annoying me how disastrous it looks, actually, LOL. Then, sometime this week, I have to get advised by my college advisor. I recently found out that my First Year Seminar (a freshman class limited to 15 students, and is kind of like a homeroom for freshmen) will be a class called "Composing a Life," which is all about writing autobiographies. It was my first choice, so I hope it is as interesting as it sounds in the course description. Anyways, my professor for that class is automatically my college advisor, and she has to call me and discuss my exam placement grades and what options I have in terms of classes so that I can clear for registration at the end of this month. It sounds like a long process, and part of me simply just wants to get it all started right away. But, the reality is that I know I have to enjoy this summer. Before I know it, college will arrive, and I will be longing to be enjoying the summer all over again. So, everything in its own time, I guess. I will update on any new developments.
Hmmm, what else, what else... oh yeah, I have also decided that if I end up not traveling this summer, I will do it some other time when it is more of a possibility. Yeah, because I figure that college will require that I buy a lot of things, and that kind of takes a priority right now, don't you think?
Well, I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. And on one last final, but important, note: only if this applies to you, remember: June 30th, please!
God bless.
