Caius...well, Caius got a call. And then he got on a plane (the one she bought him, incidentally), and whatever she'd intended, she's been at the forefront of his thoughts. And, by the time he reaches the hotel, his mood is not quite the best it could possibly be.
Judging, at least, from the sharp and peremptory knocking at the door.
Mina's expression is startled, then softer. Pleased to see him, if surprised it's this early...but he doesn't look too happy with her, and she's not oblivious to the multitude of reasons that might be true.
"She called this morning," is his greeting - he brushes past her, pulling the door shut behind him. This is not a conversation they should have with open doors between them, he feels - for so many reasons, among them 'in case she slams it on him' as well as prying listeners.
She stares after him for a second, thrown and displeased at the reception she's getting. It's been a long, tense day, and after the morning's initial trauma, she really just wanted the one person she felt comfortable relaxing around.
And yet.
"I'm happy to see you, too, Caius." There is some sarcasm in that, as she follows him into the room.

She opens it without checking, too.
"Solana--"
Oh. Decidedly not Solana.
