Leaving Dubai
My flight leaves at 22:00 tonight to go back to Sri Lanka. I haven't secured a job yet, although I did go to an interview or two. In that this was a "scouting mission" I have to say that it was a success, I did gather lots of info that I need to evaluate further.
There was plenty of both fun and frustration on this trip. So my mood has been yoyoing between intensely pessimistic and optimistic for the last ten days and I'm starting to get tired of the whiplash. I'm even strongly considering just saying "screw it" and going back to Canada. Some stability (and a paycheck) would be nice at this point. We'll see how I feel after a few days of rest in Sri Lanka.
