Update!
Well, since I got a laptop and faster internet, I've been busy YouTubing. Yes, it has become a verb. What I have discovered from it is:
Westlife- Still the most amazing band I'll ever love! I first heard of them while I was staying in Malaysia, and of course, European music is more popular over there than mainstream pop. Westlife was IT. I'm so glad I heard them though, because they have such wonderful voices, and a beautiful dynamic. I love their original songs more than I liked their rip-offs, but lovely all the same:)
Queer as Folk- O, my guilty pleasure. Let's just say slash won't be enough anymore;p
It's trully beautiful and quirky how this series portrays the gay lifestyles. The boys are cute/hot/adorable and there are shippings galore! I have new crushes on Gale Harold, Randy Harrison, and Hal Sparks. tehhhe:D
Convention Reports- I can experience to some extent what the actors/actresses are like off-set, and I don't feel like I've missed out. I love the inside jokes and stories they tell, and I can finally see them. For example: Comic-con 2007 Stargate Panels, OMWORD;p
T.V. Reruns- I recently watched a few episodes of Angel and Buffy, and renewed my love for Fred/Wesley. I also found out that the Dracula from Buffy's "Buffy vs. Dracula" is the same actor who plays Anteo from Stargate's "Company of Thieves." What a coincedence! :D
So...after I got off the addiction of YouTube, I discovered that my laptop could record my voice. As I have been longing to see if I sounded as squeaky as I thought, I recorded a song that I wrote, and lo and behold, it's ok. So, I made a music myspace page and put up some tracks. It took me a few hundred tries to make it sound decent and there's no background music, but it's up!
I've always thought everything happens for a reason, and perhaps that is God's way, and today, I got some proof (or something). I needed background music and I'm saving up for a keyboard or something. Turns out, my neighbour had one, and I recently did a favor for them, so they gave me the keyboard. Their daughter wasn't using it:p AND, on top of that, I needed money and I didn't have many work hours this week...but, work called me in for tomorrow for 8hrs! I've never been so happy to work;p
STARGATE RANT TIME!!!!
SO.....I FINALLY WATCHED ALL OF SEASON 10!!
I cried on the last episode...
I now understand the love for the characters Vala and Cameron, and now I see what everyone's saying about Daniel/Vala. I'm gonna write a review for each episode soon, I FREAKING LOVE THEM MORE NOW!
That's my update for the moment. I've had some issues with boys and school, but who doesn't. Thanks for the vent, hope all is well with everyone<333
