Dramas is a giant fandom that allows for endless networking. Seriously, I can play 6 degrees of [insert name] and I could come up with different answers each time, lol. But still, I sometimes marvel at how Tenimyu, D-Boys, and Tokusatsu people tend to mingle in the same crowds due to their management companies, productions, and friends of friends ;)
This post is provided to you by these three guys (and their blogs):
Yes, I've suddenly gotten into the craze that is Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. It's actually a little late, since this aired last year, but it's never late to pimp this cute show out ;)
Matsuzaka Tori -Shiba Takeru/ShinkenRed a.k.a Tono-sama XD
He was relatively an unknown before Shinkenger. He’s obviously become more popular, what with his appearances in Team Batista, GOLD, and now the lead for Clone Baby. He’s already got several movies under his belt, albeit it being Sentai, but still. According to his TopCoat profile, he’s going to be in a movie called 僕たちは世界を変えることができない. But, we wanna build a school in Cambodia. Osamu Mukai will be the lead :)
Aiba Hiroki -Ikenami Ryunosuke/ShikenBlue
Part of why I love him is because he reminds me of Koyama ♥
He's so hyper, passionate, and flaily. His voice even resembles that of Koyama's!

The hips on this man…O_O
Aiba with Nissy, because they are both in Avex ;)
This is Aiba's pet mouse, SO CUTE!
And Aiba with W's henshin device. He's friends with Renn, because they've worked with each other a lot.
And apparently, Renn is friends with everyone, lol.
And indirectly, through Masaki, with Tori, though I'm not sure if they've ever met. I'm just assuming here ^^
And these two obviously know each other, because they're both TopCoat people :Db
Suzuki Shogo -Tani Chiaki/ShinkenGreen
He’s got style, spunk, and heart :) Plus, I found out recently that he’s the lead guitarist in Cocoa Otoko, omg :9
He seems to be particularly close friends with Soma Keisuke.
Takanashi Rin -Shiraishi Mako/ShinkenPink
She’s probably the most mature girl I’ve seen in my ventures into tokusatsu so far, which isn’t that deep to be honest. I mean, there are other kick ass female characters in Kamen Rider, but Mako seems really grounded.
I watched Rin in Goth last week and it was really interesting. A bit slow, but interesting.
Suzuka Morita -Hanaori Kotoha/ShinkenYellow
Kotoha is adorable *squishes* Her kansai-ben is too cute <3 They call her the “Little Samurai” :)
What I love most about her is that she’s willing to accept all the flaws she has and doesn’t like it get to her. That’s one of her strengths, especially in that episode with the bad-mouthing!gedoushuu XD
She’s the youngest so she feels a little like a burden, but she’s so strong on the inside. I totally ship her with Takeru ^^
Soma Keisuke -Ukemori Genta/ShinkenGold
I first heard about him from Tumbling’s stageplay, but now I finally realize ‘where’ he’s from.
Genta is so hyper, I wonder if the actor’s just the same way, lol. He’s got this unique way of coding mojikara, not being of samurai decent or training, which makes me unique and fun.
What I love about this show is that it shows kids the power of words. 文字+力 (moji + chikara) =Mojikara. Word power, yea! AWESOME pun, right?! :D No, but it’s really true.
There was a fight scene that really stood out to me, how you can work together to form new strength. Mako (who’s got the power of wind) threw out ‘kaze’ at the same time Kotoha (who’s got the power of earth) threw out ‘yama’ and you have this: 風山=嵐
My friend is always spouting to me the beauty of kanji, and I can see why ;)
