San Francisco and Beyond...

SF was so much fun. I took it easy the first couple of days and hung out with an old friend from DC and spent time with 'tonio. Saturday night I danced until dawn. I haven't danced that much in years! Monday was 'tonio's birthday, so we took the ferry over to Tiburon and had lunch. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. I took him to a strip club later that night where my friend works as the stripper "mom" - taking care of the strippers. We got special treatment because we knew her. Lets just say 'tonio was very happy! *grin*

I felt like I did pretty well with the partying in SF. It wasn't a major issue. The worst part was coming back to Olympia and realizing how little I have here. Going from having people calling you all the time, wanting you to hang out, and having all sorts of fun plans - to being isolated and lonely is no fun. I need to figure out some way to get a social life here in Oly, if I'm going to stay here.

In other news, I had an interview with the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee. They do a broad range of research on policy related issues. The interview went really well. The Washington Courts have called my references, but still haven't made a decision. Keep your fingers crossed! I need J.O.B.!

Oh, and I actually managed to lose weight the week I was in SF. *boggle* I'm pretty shocked, but I'm guessing I was active enough to offset the Thai food and margaritas. :)
