3rd Spell [Accidental Video] (Following the Animus post)
[The video switches on to reveal Merlin's first real experience with an Adstring event: on his back a pair of large, inky black dragon's wings have sprouted. He also appears to be running from something, and muttering furiously to himself.]
Why do I suddenly have wings? Is this some part of being a Dragonlord that dad didn't tell me about - I really bloody think that it's something he should have told me about...
[He stops suddenly, turns and attempts to look very stern as he yells at a miniature red dragon (about a foot high) that comes trotting into view, puffing little bursts of smoke from it's nostrils and, also, seeming to smile, if such a thing can be said about dragons.]
Stop following me! I'm not your mommy!
[The dragon chirrups at Merlin, opens it's mouth to reveal tiny fangs and growls pointedly at him. Merlin flushes and shakes his head.] That-that's not. I'm not.
That doesn't count.
[So Merlin may have accidentally animated the stitched dragon on his feast clothes and he may not have ever bothered to learn the counter spell, and now the little blighter won't leave him alone.]
