~*~
Their little gang of witch hunters had just finished a job for a town but it seemed that none of the villager wanted to talk to him, to thank him for saving their lives. That was fine, he wasn't in the mood to talk either, which is why he grabbed the table in the darkest corner of the tavern he could find. Hansel grabbed an ale and waited for his sister and the others to finish packing everything up. He probably should had help but after what Ben just pulled during the hunt, Hansel was sure to kill him if he saw him right then. It was bad enough that the kid almost got himself killed but Gretel as well. Hansel just didn't see what she saw in the guy to keep him around; at least Edward knew had to fight, but Ben....
He took a sip of his ale, he just needed to cool off but as his sister came into view at the tavern's entrance, he knew he would have to cool of on the move. He nodded to her and finished his ale in one last gulp, stood and headed to the door. When he got to Gretel she gave a look that he knew too well, and he just shrugged. There was no way that he could promised not to kill Ben if the kid asked for it but he could promised to at least do his best.
