Kaito 12 - Monster Hospital [Video]
[Kaito is using the PCD almost like a documentary camera, panning it from side to side as he walks. He turns it to focus on a large cluster of turkeys a ways away.]
And here we have a muster of these raptor like creatures arranged in a basic carrion formation...
[His mind catches up with his mouth and he stops walking, turning more fully in that direction. After a moment's pause he starts over towards the turkeys.]
Oi! Featherheads! What d'ya think you're doing?
[One turkey turns it's head to stare at him almost dismissively before turning it's attention back to whatever is in the circle of that mass of birds. There is red on it's beak. Kaito's speed picks up.]
Oi!
[He kicks a stone at the nearest turkey's head, hitting it squarely on the back and startling a gobble out of it. The next few minutes of video feed is blurred and frenzied with angry noises from the turkeys and a few "war cries" from Kaito. As the last of the turkeys clear out and stray feathers float through the air the video reveals Kaito kneeling down at the base of a ravaged nest, bits of broken eggs scattered throughout. A half eaten adult Wind Serpent lays beside the nest.]
Hey, hey, you're okay baby. You're a pretty little thing, aren't you? Shhhhhhhh, everything's going to be okay...
[He pulls back, cradling a young Wind Serpent to his chest. He smiles imploringly at the camera.]
Hey, Hakuba, can I keep her?
