I have a few goals for this break: 1) Take a journey North again, & document it in photos, writing, perhaps even videos. The first time I did this journey was for an entirely different reason. I've had deal with a few graphic designers with big egos that know nothing about the challenges of web design. It will be good for you to have some knowledge of graphic design as you build sites.
The beauty of building your own site is that you can tear it down and do it again or just keep adding to it as often as you like. Keep taking the web classes too. There is so much happening in that technology, it will help you to know about some of the newer techniques.

You DO deserve a break, so have a fun drive up the coast!

And better that you learn now that you don't want to be a graphic illustrator than 10 years down the road!

And you should definitely create your own site to showcase your work, portfolio, etc. It doesn't look like lastglow.com is taken :)
