So, things Mike does that are dorky and adorable and make me giggle:
There are these critters in Mario Galaxy called Cataquacks. (You may also have met them in Mario Sunshine.) They look like football helmets with tiny little legs and GIANT RUBBER DUCK BEAKS. They don't hurt you, usually--they just charge toward you and use their beaks to fling you super high in the air.
On Sunday, while Mike was playing Mario Galaxy, we ordered food. When the food got there, of course, he stopped to eat, but didn't pause the game. Instead, he left Mario standing near a Cataquack, who just perpetually flung Mario into the air over and over again. By the third or fourth time I was giggling hysterically, and he said "I knew you would enjoy that." XD XD ♥
Other miscellanea: Frustrated today by the search process, but I'll get over it. (Mango Smirnoff Ice will help. Mmmmm delicious mangoes.)
Tonight: More Fullmetal Alchemist with people, and delicious mushroom risotto and salad. (I love to cook. I can tell that I've been growing fussy with my routine of "just make some pasta or something because it's cheap," because I was far too gleeful at the idea of selecting nice fresh produce and the like for tonight's dinner.)
First, though, 400 more words. Which are perhaps potentially relevant to
who_shot_kr's interests, as demonstrated by the following snippet:
Although the spells themselves-Blizzard, Blizzara, Blizzaga-were swift to fade from the world, gone in a waft of crystal dust as Magicite shattered in her hands, the effects of MagiTek lingered on. Celes wondered if it was something in the way the process connected with the body and powered itself off her own life-force. Terra's hands were still feverishly hot even now, nearly painful to the touch, and even the comparatively muted temperature of Locke's skin was startlingly hot against hers.
