after several false starts, I have determined that this costume is going to be mostly held together with Fabri-Tac, ribbon, and a few safety pins. Mostly ribbon. (My greaves are going to be solely held on with ribbon, and the top bits are going to be pinned on, and the skirt will consist of fabric glued to ribbon and then tied round my waist.

but i gauged the amounts of ribbon necessary absolutely perfectly, and I have tons and tons and tons of fabric. which means DRAPERIES. which I can totally get away with!
