1. How long have you been writing fanfiction?
Since 1996, four years before I knew what it actually was.
2. What made you start writing fanfiction?
I wanted to write a Pern story, which is now (fortunately) lost to the depths of cyber-garbage and was never seen by anyone but me. (Plus I was 13 at the time, FFS).
3. Do you post any of your work?
Aye, on Fanfiction.net, FicWad (as "lassarina"), and athyn
4. What genres do you enjoy writing?
Angst and romance.
5. Do you handwrite things first?
Rarely. Only if I'm stranded without keyboard.
6. Do you usually finish what you started?
Eventually. I'm still working on most of my unfinished pieces and orphaned bunnies.
7. What fandoms are your favorite to write for?
Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IV.
8. How can people recognize your writing?
I honestly don't know what the hallmarks of my style are. Perhaps one of you lot might tell me?
9. Have you ever had a fic advertised?
Other than being listed on ff_press, not that I know of.
10. What is your most popular fic?
Um, at the moment, I guess "The Dragon Campaign" (it has the most comments)
11. What is your favorite that you have written?
"Rain" or "Uncomfortable Silences"
12. In retrospect, your least favorite?
Anything I wrote before 2002.
13. What is the longest fic you’ve written?
"The Dragon Campaign" - ~9K words.

Drabbles.

"Of Cids and Oglops"

Mmm, probably "Rain" or "Dragon Campaign"

19. What was the fastest you’ve ever written a multichapter fic?
I wrote "Do You Still Believe?" in two days, but it was only two chapters. I don't really have any other multichapters complete.

Angstastic angst.

Celes tops this list like whoa, followed up with Seifer, Kain, Beatrix.
22. Least favorite character(s) to write?
Gau, Cait Sith, Selphie, Rikku.

24. Do allow people to beta your work?
Yes, celeloriel is my primary beta, but I shift some of the workload to first_seventhe (and evillotto for pure stylistic critique) because she's very busy.
25. Have you ever co authored a fic?
Yes, with kruammitak years ago, and planning some collabs with first_seventhe.
26. First person, Second person, or Third person?
Mostly third, but occasional bits of first.
27. Drabbles, one shots, or multichapter fics?
Mostly one-shots, with some drabbles and multichapters.

Mostly het, with wanderings into shoujou/shounen ai.

Mostly past, occasional bits of present.

Themes, canon, music, anything.

Sometimes.

Usually 2000-3000 words.

Laziness, procrastination. Also plot holes that celeloriel can ride a six-in-hand Chocobo wagon through.

I'd like to think characterization and description, but maybe not.

When someone reviews in a positive manner.

Writer's block. Also looking at illiterate Sue-spawning fanbrats who have seventy zillion reviews and then I have none.
