Weekend!
So, it's been kind of a long week. Work had several varieties of utter lameness, but I did find out on Friday that I passed my assessment, so W00T. I remain employed! (Provided I don't do something arse-stupid.)
I bought Kushiel's Scion on Wednesday, but I haven't started it yet; I was re-reading books, and will probably begin it tomorrow.
tetsuokatata left this morning. I had been most definitely enjoying his company so I'm kinda sad, but that's the way it is, right? There was a minor debacle when his debit card had gone missing. I found it today, between the fourth and fifth loads of laundry, when I cleaned the dryer's lint trap and lo and behold, card! So I will be overnighting that to him tomorrow. Anyway, I stayed up till 4 am with him yesterday talking and such, woke up at 6 to bid him adieu, and crashed out for another couple hours. I am now immensely tired, and heading to bed soon.
I haven't done much ficwriting this week, but I did finally figure out what I'm going to do for my arcana_fic challenge. And after this, I am done with the Edgar muse. I will finish "Crimson Memories" and that's IT. Do you hear me, Edgar muse? NO MORE!
Ahem.
Other than that, I haven't done much of interest. I did finally go back to Xenogears today. I am headdesking muchly at the delay between screens (so the lag between when I enter a door, and when the game loads the new area, or whatever). Rarg! Also I've half forgotten where I am in the plot, but I'm figuring it out. Just about to do the tournament, but I realized I was too tired to do it well.
Angry midget leprechauns are FUCKING HILARIOUS. That character so rocks.
Oh, and I beat New Super Mario Bros. today. I killed Bowser good and dead. Now I will go back and get all the star coins and secrets and so on and so forth. Good game, if rather annoying toward the end. I hate World 8. Hate hate hate hate. I will probably get bored of attempting to acquire Star Coins about...oh....three attempts from now and call it good, but I do need to go mess about in World 7, because I haven't done so yet; by the time I got to World 6 I was getting so damn exasperated that I just raced through at absolute top speed trying to beat the game. I hate it when that happens.
I'm sure I had something else to say, but I'm too tired to think of what it was...
Oh! Right. Google Notebook is frickin awesome, as is Google Browser Sync. I likes them, and they are shiny.
