Solo Valentine's
You know, I figured I'd be more upset at being single on Valentine's Day this year, considering I haven't been single on Valentine's Day since 2001 (ah freshman year, how much you sucked. I do remember johnnythm2000 sending me a care package that he timed to arrive on Valentine's Day and put a silk rose in it just to aggravate me because I hated Valentine's Day....I had to laugh.) In point of fact though I am surprisingly not-caring. Which is just another manifestation of me not needing a relationship to be relatively contented, I guess. So. Since I'm feeling silly...
Five Reasons Why I'm Glad I'm Single This Valentine's Day
1. Not being responsible for the care and feeding of the male ego.
2. Not having to buy Valentine's presents, since I don't have any money to buy Valentine's presents.
3. I have chocolate.
4. I don't have to answer to anyone. (Well, except my mom and the gods, but they don't count for purposes of this list.)
5. I can flirt with whoever I want, at whatever intensity I choose, and nobody has the right to tell me not to.
Yay.
In other news, I read the Valentine applications from the previous entry, and they are all nifty, and I refuse to choose between them =p So nyah! *hugs and chocolate all round*
Evening schedule is as follows:
4:30-5:30: Driving home
5:30-6:15: Working out
6:15-whenever: Shower, cleaning my room, laundry, chocolate, video games, spoiling the cat, being online, and also sabrielrose is making dinner. Mmm tasty.
