*long sigh*

Today did not start out in the best of all possible ways, that's for sure.

I woke up at 7, stretched as usual, and as I did, the muscle in my left calf folded up, going from something like this: | to something like this: S

Incredible pain. I woke shoecollar up when I screamed, and he fixed it (or at least got it to uncramp.) It's been sore all day. Class today was kind of boring, although we did get to play Scattergories at the end, which I'm thinking I might pick up because I had a ton of fun. Sitting next to two of the more....unusual individuals in my class. One is expecting, and the other is a would-be comedian. It wouldn't be too bad except we have three strong and highly opposing personalities in a small space, which doesn't work out too terribly well. Sigh.

I'm savoring alone time right now. Since shoecollar got here about 3.5 weeks ago, I have not had any time to myself except driving and time spent taking care of personal needs. I do not consider driving time to be alone time, because I'm too busy worrying about all the assholes swerving in front of me and slamming on their brakes, so tonight I told John that I needed alone time. Ganon was in here for a while, but then he knocked stuff off the dresser and was promptly and summarily ejected from my room. I slammed the door and have been enjoying the absolute silence (except for clicking of the keys) and total lack of human presence other than myself.

*blinks at clock in confusion* It's only 8? Really?

Oh yeah, I found a faster route home. Even when it's slow, I get home 10-15 minutes earlier than normal, which is good.

I had Chipotle for supper tonight. It was tasty, and i am still nibbling on chips and guacamole. Also accomplished recently: Calling the landlord to demand rent credit for referrals, calling NU's yearbook service to acquire the yearbook my mom bought, and making vet appointments for Ganon so he can get the rest of his shots.

*yawn*

OK. A few minutes of meditation are in order, and then I think I'm going to go work on reading A Game of Thrones.
