It's been an okay day. I went to Flat Top with pooka_madness and spreadnparanoia, which was delicious and wonderful as always. We came back here, Sam departed for work, Pooka played some Tactics, I spazzed out and had a nice conversation with shoecollar which made me feel significantly better. calhin came over and hung out, then timeshaper's friends got back and we all hung out for a while. Some of us had a few drinks (suprisingly I had the largest number, which is why it has taken me forever to type this paragraph--I keep having to backspace and correct typographical errors. OK, that last sentence was just pure masochism on my part.) Anyway I had two buttery nipples, a vanilla vodka & Dr. Pepper, and a Kahlua and Dr. Pepper cause Dana poured himself Kahlua and decided he didn't like it so I drank it but I wasn't going to drink it straight, so I added Dr. Pepper and it made the carbonation do funny things and behave more like the carbonation in root beer than the carbonation in Dr. Pepper and mother of FUCK could I have devised a sentence more likely to challenge my tipsy typing?
Pooka, Sam and I watched some West Wing; Dana was there for a while and then went away. I like West Wing; it's a damn good show. Oh, we also watched Bad Santa earlier. I ignored most of it and read Enchanter which is a very good book.
Now I am more than a little tipsy and talking to shoecollar and glassmarionette. This can only end well, right?
