this kitty wants to eat my tostadas. silly Zelda.
It got cold again :( and wet :( and predictably, I have acquired a cold. It's not as brutal as some of the ones I've had, but basically I hurt all over and all I want is to be under blankets somewhere soft being cuddled. I've slept near to 12 hours both of the last two days. And spent today curled up on the couch with tea and kitties, reading the new Nora Roberts (which is stellar.)
I had dinner this week with
rabbitprint, which was absolutely wonderful - I lost all track of time and suddenly realized the restaurant had gotten real quiet because it was 10 pm, and had to skedaddle on home, but the late arrival home was 150% worth it. We had marvelous conversations and it got me thinking about a lot of things, like relationship maintenance and meaningful apologies and how people form the communities they choose; I've got a few posts marinating on these topics, but my brain isn't quite up to forming them yet.
Man, I was doing super well at word output this month - 1k+ per day - and then I slid off the wagon and I'm trying so damn hard to catch up. I can do it, it's just gonna take some time. Meh. I am impatient and want everything done at once.
In other news (yes this is the most disjointed entry, that is what you get when I'm sick), I already got Rinoa in the FFRK event, and am using the Sunday XP dungeon to level everybody up to minimum 25 because it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm really enjoying it, though, in large part because progress is not glued to the RNG like it can be in Puzzle & Dragons (which I'm also enjoying, and I think I would really love the DS version, so I'm squirrelling away money toward that.)
Sheesh, I've only been up 7 hours and I could go right back to bed. I hate being sick. x_x
