ahhh, the beauty of weekend
Yesterday was a pretty good day - I collected a 
celeloriel and, together with
goldmare and paladin, we ventured to the local Korean spa and flopped around together. I came home with a headache, which was probably weather-related, and then paladin and I hung a dozen pieces of art (wow I have a house with decorations) and unpacked a couple boxes full of Things that had been lurking in the guest bedroom. This was important because that bedroom is shortly to have Actual Furnishings and the like when my mom gets here next weekend with a trailer full of stuff she is downsizing from her house into mine.
Today we have a visiting
tuberose, and it involved ordering food from a place we favor that has delicious butternut squash ravioli and then flopping on the couch for a huge chunk of Criminal Minds season 1. It was really weird to see the "introduce Hotch's brother" episode when I had recently seen the "Return of Hotch's Brother" episode in season 9. I also realized that they never do the "show the team in the montage of the UNSUB" thing anymore, which I kind of miss. Some day I will catch up to where I started and have seen all of the CM episodes. Some day.
Paladin started playing Arkham Origins and I am impatiently waiting for Troy fuckin' Baker to show up. In the meantime we held a lengthy debate last night (with contributions via text from
celeloriel) about whether Batman has a high or low Humanity score, because of course we did. We came to the conclusion that he's probably on an alternate Path, maybe Road of Heaven or Path of Honorable Accord, because he does some rather terrible things in pursuit of a higher goal and despite the torture/intimidation tactics, has very specific lines he will not cross. House of nerds, right here.
I've been steadily working on the embroidery piece; 6 of the "extremely fiddly" pieces are done, leaving me 4 more extremely fiddly pieces, a bunch of "fill in large chunks of one color," and then a shit-ton of outlining but at least that part's going to be fast. Maybe I can finish this in time. MAYBE.
And now that I've had my Internet break, it's back to that while swapping between watching
tuberose play WoW and paladin play Arkham Origins.
