FINALLY

Tuesday the 18th - We had clinic appointments, then I had to stay late to do paperwork and financial work for the clinic.

Wednesday - I ran out of food for breakfast, but luckt for me Natalie was nice enough to bring breakfast in for us. Aaron got to call me at work, so that was nice. We had a gastroxy for one of the working dogs, I was a little frustrated because for some reason I was having a hard time placing the IV and the trach tube, things that are usually easy for me. The gastropexy took way longer than it was scheduled to, and I was getting impatient because that night was one of the few nights when Aaron was going to be able to chat online, so I wanted to get home quick. I got home pretty late, but I still got to chat with Aaron for a little bit. At the end of the day I was very, very tired.

Thursday - Training day, had to get up early to leave for training. The thing I like about Thursdays is that during the car ride to Fort Meade CPT P and I get a chance to talk about the clinic and what's been going on, it's like a mini conference, since we're usually both too busy to sit down and talk about those things. Training was actually somewhat interesting this day, we had some food inspection training but after that it was credit and identity theft training and canine CPR training, it was nice to have some vet tech training for once. After the training a stray cat came into the clinic, she was scrawny and dehydrated but sooo friendly. We had to give her fluids and draw blood, but the whole time she was being held and poked she kept purring because she was happy for the attention. If I had a house she would be home with me right now, I wanted her so badly.
After training CPT P and I went to a grill for lunch. After we ate the waiter informed us that someone else had paid our bill for us. We had no idea who it was, but we couldn't believe someone had paid for our food. I felt sort of guilty because I didn't feel like I deserved that. Back at the clinic we had more training to do for a new army system online.

Friday - clinic day, saw appointments. The new certificate from the Maine DMV was in my mail.

Weekend - I finally gave in and joined MySpace so I could track down some old friends. On Saturday I had to go into the clinic to finish up the online Army training, it took a few hours but I finished it.

Monday - Had to do more financial paperwork, then spent the rest of the day countring the working dog medications for December. Aaron e-mailed me and said he's going out on a mission and won't be able to talk or e-mail for over a week.
