last weekend of the semester :)
so classes are FINALLY done. yay for never having to take a Gen Ed requirement at Hope ever again (except for my cultural diversity credits, but i get to take a super easy class for that.. yay). I am soooo ready to go home.
I'm feeling pretty good though, I have 4 finals next week: 1 on Mon and Weds, and 2 on Tuesday. My two on Tuesday are the ones i've been studying my butt off for. Spanish, Cultural Heritage and Art History I could get anywhere from a B to an A- and god do i want that A-!!! That would rock my world. So i'm doing everything in my power to be able to rock out my finals. I think Cultural Heritage I will not do as well as, so I'll probably end up with a B+ in that class... but I'm really hoping to do well on my spanish final because I've worked my butt off all semester and her grading system is so crazy... even if we do all the requirements, its only good enough to get a B+, so we have to do extra credit... which i tried to do a ton of. Research Methods I can get a B- on the final and still get an A in the class, but I don't want to do that poorly on the final so i'll probably study my butt off even though I really don't need to. Joanna didn't put me on the schedule at all next week so after I get home on Wednesday i can relax until Monday, but it also kind of sucks b/c I need the money. oh well.
I'm so jealous... my parents are putting up the Christmas tree today. My dad got such a great tree, its 12 ft and I'm so bummed that now that I'm at school I don't get to help put it up like in previous years. Oh well. I just can't wait to walk in the door on Wednesday and smell the tree and have fresh baked cookies waiting for me :)
I'm so excited to see everyone when I get home. I feel like I've been so busy with school and whenever I leave its to go see Andy because I miss him like crazy and so I really haven't seen any of my high school friends this semester. It'll be nice to catch up with everyone, hopefully get to see Stencel and Rob and Chad (if he comes home) and all of my friends that aren't part of my "group" from high school cuz i'll probably see them tons (i hope!)
I went to the mall with Sara from my RM class and her roommate Jenni. She emailed me yesterday about renting a house next year thats like a 2 minute walk from campus.... it would be so awesome to have our own house. we could have 6 people for $250/month each and i probably would get my own room, which would be awesome. We are supposed to go take a look at it sometime next week because Sara is studying in Rome next semester. I hope it all works out, it would be really cool. and it would be a helluva lot cheaper than living in the dorms, esp since I will only be here fall semester (i hope).
alright i should probably go study some more, even though i've gotten so much more done today already than i thought i would, i could actually be done for the day... but i will feel guilty if i do that.
also, i found out Cassie is not coming home in January. hell yeah, way to make shitty decisions. i hope she's happy and she doesnt struggle as much as I think she will.
