5 Question Meme

1. One book on a desert island: which and why?
Oh, dear. I don't know! There's so many I love and have read several times, and I can't choose! It would have to be something long, though, so I can spend a while reading it. Maybe the book I have that has every Sherlock Holmes story? Lol. Maybe Gone With the Wind would be a better choice, or better yet, Once and Future King. I keep meaning to read it but have never got around to doing so.
2. Dark chocolate or milk chocolate? Nuts or plain?
Plain Milk Chocolate, because dark makes me sick, and nuts are good in soda, but not chocolate. But only of we're talking about m&ms or hershey's. Snickers, for instance, taste good with nuts :)
3. Swimming in the lake or the pool?
Oh, definitely the pool. I've done open-water swimming before, and it creeps me out thinking that there might me something below me and I don't know it. Plus, to me, it's not swimming if there isn't chlorine. It's just playing without it. Maybe that's the part of me that has had nine years of competitive swimming under her belt, but unless there are lane lines, markers, and starting blocks, and/or flags, I'm not really swimming. Back in those days, I think chlorine became my natural perfume I was in the water so much. I wouldn't trade it for the world, though. Swimming still is my favorite sport, and I miss it dearly.
4. Favorite fandom/genre/pairing?
Hahahahahaha. Does it need saying?
But I'll go ahead and list a couple to actually answer.
1) Doctor Who- Doctor/Rose
2) Avatar: The Last Airbender:- Aang/Katara
3) Star Trek-Kirk/The Enterprise (LOL)
4) Harry Potter- Harry/Ginny, and for some strange, strange reason, I like Hermione/Severus Snape (But ONLY when the story is good)
5) Tangled: Rapunzel/Eugene
And my favorite genre is sci-fi/fantasy, though I do love understated comedy. Nothing too flamboyant.
5. What do you love about your cat?
I think the better question to ask is what I don't love about him. You always have one special pet in your life, and Bear is mine. He's a wonderful cuddler, cute as can be, and doesn't object when I move around in bed. He also follows me around the house like a little duckling. Even though he still hasn't quite got the hang of balancing on my shoulders just yet and has a tendency of waking me up at three or four in the morning to go outside, he's my baby. I've had three cats before him and a dog (we still have her, though), but Bear is more special to me than the others.
