My computer has officially curled up and died, which means that fics are going to be a while in coming. Since I have the week off for Mardis Gras and both my parents and my sister use their computers, I don't have the means to do much writing. I have several fics semi-written on my iPad, but it's hard to edit them on here and a dickens to copy and paste. I've been emailing them to myself so that when school starts back up again, I can actually do some editing and writing (when I'm not taking tests and doing homework, that is).
In other news, I've been making progress on Don't Ask, Don't Tell. I've been forced to write out all the major scenes via pencil and paper, so all I have to do is work out all the accursed details, which I always, always get stuck on. I had a nice outline planned out and everything, but then my computer died. If I ever get access to a computer for more than ten minutes, I'll post up teaser pictures and snatches of fic. Until then, I'm scribbling in my notebook.
Oh, and before I forget; I am absolutely drowning in beads here. You can't navigate our living room without stepping on beads, and those are the ones we don't even want to keep. Our kitchen table, island, side table, the floor of my bedroom, and kitchen counters are covered in the nice ones, those with parade names, light up baubles, glass beads, Saints propaganda (which my mom was all over, since she loves that team), funky designs, and other cool little oddities. We even have light up bouncy balls, frisbees, stickers, and one parade was giving out bandaids. We even got two Muse shoes, which are hard to get and people literally get into fist fights over them. And we're not even done with parades yet!
So, beyond my computer, life has been fun, hectic, and school has been stressful as always. Keep an eye out for a fic next week, and for that teaser post.
That is all.
