1) They are very cold, do not eat a giant bite, l-v-f, you will get a toothache.

I have a terrible almost-migraine, but I really really want to cook. Like, several types of dessert all at once (I count poached eggs as dessert, they are that good).

Garrrgh. Maybe if I cook for the People Out In the Living Room, they'll be really really quiet?

I think we have broth -- all this medieval stuff is making me crave soup and cold cheese on bread to go with. Should remember to add celery, if we do indeed have broth. And maybe not home fries, too, then.

Also, we have pumpkin ice cream. It's delightful. I believe I may cook up an apple and butter mixture to use as a topping for it. =D

When I was a kid, I hated fast food. My mother loved it. I very quickly learned to eat cheese and ketchup sandwiches, which is basically a burger minus almost all of its ingredients. I'll still -- rarely -- eat it to this day, at home.

Presently, the only thing along these lines we have in the house is Rice Chex. However, since Rice Chex are both urgently desired but also not frequently consumed, in this household... I have an idea for a regular snack I might make out of them.

So, after several attempts, I've got a reliable formula for poaching 'em in the pan, since my microwave blows them up. Cooking them per online recipes does not work -- if I turn the stove off, the water cools too fast, and after ten minutes the water is cold and they are still undercooked (I believe this has to do with pan size).
