The CotT had smaller attendance this year and both fights were completely very quickly so both are in one You Tube video. I'm in there wearing a mail shirt. A friend ran the camera.

Pennsic battles at 10 am this year
So the Pennsic battle schedule is filling out and it looks like the mass armour battles start at 10 am. That is going to make for interesting mornings and afternoon naps.

Combat of the Thirty Pennsic XXXVIII Second Fight
There was a second fight at the Combat of the Thirty. This one was for fun rather than for ransoms, a banner and bragging rights. Some gentles had to leave so the numbers were below 60 and no longer even. The English quickly beat the French. Here is the video of the fight. At under 4 minutes it is a quick watch. Pennsic rain day
It is Wednesday at Pennsic and it has been raining, lightly, all morning. I am doing some work e-mail at the on-site Internet cafe. I have fought two days. The camp is largely set up and looks good. This weekend we will double the number of people in our camp ( Read more... ) -
Combat of the Thirty and Ealdormerean Unbelts
Damn they have scheduled the Ealdormerean unbelt team tournament at the same time as the Combat of the Thirty. Geez, with two days open for the activities you think they could avoid a conflict. Pennsic 2010
My airman brought home her UTA schedule for the FY 0910 and she has to work the middle weekend of Pennsic again. This year, 2009, they do not have a UTA in August, it has been moved to June ( Read more... )
