My sweetie is getting promoted
SInce not all of you are LJ friends with lanfier , my wife, you may have not see the following news.
I am very pleased to report that my reservist airman, CG, is (finally) getting promoted to Tech Sgt on 1 August.
We have been waiting for this promotion for months. Also this weekend she passed a major inspection of her area with flying colours. The previous two inspections (before she started working there) of the squadron were failures.
In the next year she needs to go away for a 6 week course so she can make MSgt in two years. Finding child care for our 3 yo will be a problem but a manageable one.
I am so proud of her.
