I got it! I got it!!
In my quest to own books I like in other languages, I have finally found and purchased a copy of Houkutus. :) Which is the Finnish translation of Twilight.
The only other one I have is the Japanese copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
But hey. Those are hard languages to find in this country.
Anywho. I was surfing the net, trying to find a website with a moderately low shipping rate--one that would also ship to the US from Finland or elsewhere in Europe, that is. And somebody over in New Jersey had the book listed on Amazon.com. There was no picture, and a pretty poor description--it just stated that the book was titled Houkutus and was in either Swedish or Finnish.
So I emailed him and he sent me a scan so I could identify it for sure.
And I now have it! :D:D:D:D For less than $30. It would have cost me over a hundred to import it.
I'm so happy!
Now there's just the matter of how long it will be before I can read it.
My next goal is LoTR in both Japanese and Finnish.

Also, after nearly four months of being here, Nate and I have painstakingly managed to make one friend. Sort of. She was working at the club and we were talking, and she gave us her number and told us to call and hang out.
We've been on a bowling kick lately and are going again on Wednesday, so we're thinking we'll call and invite her along.

By the way. Nate kicks my ass at bowling. And we both suck. My best score tonight was 112. His was 120. - -' He also bowls better if he's drinking. XD

This month we're going to be fairly busy, I think. This week we're not really going anywhere because we're keeping half an eye on JJ and Keyna's house while they're off visiting friends and taking a vacation, but Friday we're heading up to Cheboygan/Petoskey to hang out with Stells and her fam, go to Jostal and Raxiel's wedding, and also pop in and spend a few days with Aunt Ellen and Uncle Dan.
In a couple of weeks here, we'll be going to Georgia for Ides, and then Nate (and possibly myself, though this is Nate's trip and he hasn't invited me) is going to Florida to hang out with Deakon and Sidia for a little bit. :) If I don't end up tagging along, I'll be flying up to Toledo to stay at my mom's and start getting my tickets taken care of. Even if I go to Florida with Nate, that's our next stop. Taking care of tickets. We'll probably spend some time with our families, but we also really want to hang out with a bunch of other people, so anyone who has room and wants to take us in for a night please tell me!
We're going to hit IGUN at least once.
There is also half a plan in the making to call Rowan and some of the other Dragoon guys and see if they'll take us out and about Fort Wayne for a few days, and maybe we'll get to stay out there, too.
Depending on how long we're off (it's going to be anywhere from 3-6 weeks) I'd also like to try and hit Colorado if we can on Greyhound or something, and see Makenzie. :-/ I'm hoping all that will be possible.
So we'll be all over the country. ^_^
