Thanksgiving done and gone. I was up at five thirty, worked until about nine thirty, and then went over to JJ and Keyna's to rest until dinner, which happened at about noon. Ate lots, loafed around on the couch some more, and was supposed to go back to work, but Keyna wanted to go to Walmart, so JJ let me have the afternoon off so I could hang out with the girls.
I did manage to get most of my Christmas shopping done, though. :)
Oron officially makes it out to stay for the month of December tonight. He'll be helping us work this project through, and then he'll go home to his family. But we'll get to host him for two weeks, so now I need to clean my apartment out and try and furnish our guest room.
The only thing I'm truly apprehensive about concerning his stay is that I haven't been cooking dinner because we've been so tired. We've literally been using our apartment as sleep space for the past week, because we get up at five am, go to work, spend our lunch hour at JJ and Keyna's place, and then, since Nate's been working late, I've also spent my afternoon's at Keyna's, waiting for Nate to get off work. We make it home around 8:30 or 9 pm, and go to bed, so we can be up in time to do it all over again. But, at least it's easy work and a paycheck.
There's an interesting rumor going around that Nate and I MIGHT get assigned to a project in Atlanta GA next spring. :) For four to six months. Which would be pretty cool. Nate said if we have to go down there for that amount of time, I can get a laptop, since we'd likely be staying in a business suite, and taking my desktop would be more hassle than I'd like to put up with.
The downside to all of this is, we won't get any days off until late January. At all. 10 hour days 7 days a week. Then we'd get a rest, and then we'd be back at it, only in Georgia. And I'd have to try and plan my wedding from even further away. But! if we can, it'll be cool to see Athron and Linwe if they're still down there, and maybe even Deakon and Sidia if we can find the time to make a side trip. :)
There isn't really much else to talk about since I haven't done anything. Later. ^_^
