Attended a public input meeting earlier this morning facilitated by the WiDNR on the current state of the Chequamegon Bay/Apostle Islands fishery.
(1) The ignorance of some people never fails to amaze me.
(2) Had an "Oh frak, what am I getting myself into?" moment.

This? Probably impossible. My favorite song switches all the time and I'm quite positive I've never had a single favorite - I'll go through phases and listen to certain songs over and over. This is probably cheating, but I'm going to pick the two that have stood out for me lately.
1. Iron & Wine - The Sea and the Rhythm
Beautiful song. Soothing. It's what I have been falling asleep to at night. It reminds me of early summer mornings on the boat riding out to our lift spot and lazy afternoons on the beach.
2. Belle & Sebastian - Piazza, New York Catcher
I can't quite figure out why I love this song so much. But I do. It reminds me of Cubs games with the family and of our epic road trips. The song has a unique feel. Belle & Sebastian are awesome.
