Wednesday doesn't have to be dreary
Hello darlings! I hope you're all having a wonderful week! My week is awesome because I'm still riding the high from last week (write up and pics will happen when I'm not drowning in work) and from the Inception Love Meme. Thank you guys so much for your kind words! I'm overwhelmed. *squishes everyone* You are all so lovely and sweet. <333

So! A few things:
1) helpthesouth is a new community set up to raise money for the areas in the US that were recently devastated by natural disasters. If you have time, please consider dropping by and helping out. ♥
2) swing_set13, the awesome maintainer of the Epic Arthur/Eames AU Master List, has started an Epic Mark/Eduardo AU Master List! I've just started reading TSN fic (sometimesalways is the enabliest of enablers and I ♥ her for it) and y'all know (or will find out) how I feel about AUs so this is all kinds of good for me. :D
3) I'm pretty sure it's going to be terrible but I kind of want to watch Priest. XD I have a weakness for Maggie Q being all BAMFy and I will never not watch Karl Urban so...
4) Words are failing me (even emails), I can't seem to write coherent sentences I don't want to rip to shreds, I hate my brain. Woe. Am still working on the lift!fic, jeannedecarnin, I haven't forgotten! <3
5) Important question: Would anyone be interested in an A/A/E appreciation post? After squeeful conversations with knowmydark and eustacia_vye28 I've put together a giant list of my A/A/E recs, but so much has been happening lately and everyone is super busy, with the love meme and the bottom!Eames fest and delires' awesome party post (which I haven't even finished reading yet, wtheck, real life, NOT ON), I'm wondering if y'all are burnt out. What do you think?? Should I wait?
Various fic recs!
1) when you're fighting you feel all right by 1001cranes (Arthur/Eames, PG13) - Ever wondered what sorts of games the team would play when they're bored? This is wonderful, it's hilarious, whimsical, full of competence and banter and all kinds of lovely things.
2) Stranger things than known by man by butterflythread (Arthur/Eames, NC17, Warnings for xenophilia and consensual tentacle sex) - If Eames had never told, Arthur never would have guessed. But now he knows what's really under Eames's skin, he can't stop thinking about it. Ridiculously hot, so hot that I had to stop reading it at work because I was actually getting embarrassed right there in the office and I read fic at work all the time with no problems, that is how hot it is. :)
3) The Republic of Heaven by blind_author (Sherlock/John, mostly PG13, R to be safe) - Born to a witch and a human, people know Sherlock will be unusual from the start. John Watson, on the other hand, seems perfectly ordinary, except for his dæmon... A His Dark Materials AU. Fantastic blending of the two worlds, interesting and engrossing plot. It's still a WIP but it's so good I'm reccing it now. Knowledge of Pullman's novels enhances the reading experience but isn't strictly necessary.
4) Art of the reasoner by tellytubby101 (Sherlock/John eventually, PG13?) - A world in which Sherlock is an artist, not a detective. Though that doesn’t mean he can’t help solve crimes. This is a fantastic AU, detailed, complex, with excellent characterization. I really enjoyed the way the author describes Sherlock's thoughts and the way he sees the world, it's so unique and interesting.
5) This was not in the mission statement by deepsix (Arthur/Eames, PG) - Arthur takes Eames home to meet his family. It goes about as well as could be expected. Inception/3rd Rock crossover. I just discovered this yesterday and it's absolutely hilarious! I had to share it!
