On TV biz:
I asked for more shirtless Alex O'Loughlin and last week's episode of H50 obliged. :D The banter continues to be delightful. Thanks again for the rec,
amazingly_me! I'm almost caught up on Nikita. The show is genuinely getting better as the season progresses. I can barely recognize Devon Sawa but I'm happy to see him on my screen again. Now that I'm caught up on these two, I'm going to start watching Merlin tomorrow. =) Yay for Bradley James and his ridiculously perfect jawporn!
On movies:
Over the course of my (too short) holiday, I watched The Take (OH MY GOD, THARD, YOU ARE THE BEST PSYCHOPATH EVER; seriously, I was in awe of his acting ability), Layer Cake (fun and witty but I still think Snatch was better because I wasn't satisfied with the ending; also included bonus THard), the Expendables (Who wrote this script??? GAH. The action was great but the dialogue was ridiculous and the whole movie felt choppy with lots of extraneous scenes; also, why was Jet Li in constant need of being "saved" by Sylvester Stallone? He's JET LI. He doesn't need rescuing!!), the second half of Gran Torino (A movie with Hmong!! That's pretty cool, Mr. Eastwood), the second half of It's Complicated (kind of funny, but kinda meh), and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (occasionally funny but mostly very awkward).
On real life:
I was in a very big hurry yesterday to run to the store and return something for my dad. So I didn't notice that he had parked his car directly behind mine just a few feet from the garage. Our driveway slopes a bit so when I opened the garage door, I didn't see his car. -_- Good thing I didn't hit my accelerator so all I did was bump his car, no damage except to my pride. Still. That was somewhat TRAUMATIZING because it was the first time in over 9 years of driving that I've hit anything. O_O Life should not be this exciting.
